Purchaser for IKEA Service Office in Kyiv (temporary assignment)

Your profile

• Past experience in procurement, understanding of the procurement processes and administrative routines.
• Knowledge of the processes related to sustainability within the purchasing will be an advantage.
• Ability to drive the procurement agenda with a strong will.
• Good knowledge of industry and market specific conditions.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Experience of supplier management and supplier development.
• Strong financial competence and understanding.
• Good knowledge of cost drivers and the value chain of relevant segment and industry.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.
• Microsoft Office experienced user (Excel).

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

Your job is to contribute to the development and execution of the market action plan by securing compliance of the Group Procurement purchase process, building long term supplier partnerships and drive supplier performance, and involving relevant business partners to identify business needs and opportunities.

In this role, you will:

• Follow and secure the Group Procurement purchase process end-to-end.
• Build long term partnerships with Key Suppliers based on shared business model.
• Build trusted relationships through IKEA way of doing business, secure compliance of IWAY and Code of Conduct.
• Secure proper supplier management and supplier performance by professionally challenging suppliers to constantly improve all aspects of supplier performance.
• Through proactive market monitoring give input about sourcing options, supplier market, market trends and contributing to the development of the category/sourcing plans.
• Act according to IKEA values do business with Fact-based Business Leadership.
• Co-operate with team members in other and own units to accomplish common goals.
