    About the job

    Your job is to actively support your Store Sales Leader and store in communication materials, sales tools and methods, range management, competitor monitoring. You do this to optimize sales and long-term sustained profitability, within our home furnishing businesses.


    About the assignment

    In this role, you will be a part of the Store Sales & Customer Experience team within the IKEA City Store in Kyiv, accountable for the sales administration & support area within the team and you will support the store sales function to grow sales and sustain long term profitability by:

    • knowing the principals of the mechanical sales system and using this to check in-store communication and secure it is correct and supports the easy buying process.
    • coordinate the ordering of buying guides and product related information, ensuring the stores order appropriate quantities on time to meet visitor demand in their stores.
    • maintaining the price tag system in addition to current and future tools, and other relevant systems, updating them with relevant data, being the super user for this and supporting store to ensure they can use it correctly.
    • having a good knowledge of how the store work, the country commercial calendar and the needs of our customers and the impact my work has on these.
    • supporting the Store Sales leader in drive to sell their volume commitments, monitoring store sales results and providing information, which allows them to follow-up on deviations.
    • presenting all the required information in a timely manner and keep the committed deadlines.
    • actively working with your sales colleagues to understand their business needs and ensure you create and deliver appropriate information to them to help them achieve their objectives.
    • providing help and support to the service office and store colleagues, when needed in order to achieve our business priorities.
    • actively building a strong network with other service office functions in order to be able to access appropriate information to support the achievement of our sales priorities.

    • Ability to prioritize and organise work in order to make the most efficient use of time available
    • Self-reliant and motivated with proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
    • Highly developed analytical and numerical skills
    • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to read and communicate in English
    • Computer proficiency
