Senior 2D Artist (Keiki)

Genesis is a full-service international IT company. More than 1,500 people in five countries create products for more than 200 million unique monthly users. Keiki is a business unit in Genesis, which creates helpful educational apps for kids from all around the globe. As for now, the team has three products in its portfolio - Keiki, Keiki World, Keiki Puzzles. Keiki has already been featured by Apple in Our Favorite Kids App category! Now we have an ambitious plan to keep working on our current products and expand our portfolio with a new gaming product for a more adult audience.

So far we have 14 people in our team and we are looking for Senior 2D Artist (Keiki) who will significantly influence the product and grow with the team.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with game designer and technical team during all stages of product creation
• Create and supervise all the visual components of the game (game interface, mockups, icons, optimized assets and animations)
• Bring new game ideas and features
• Participate in new game creation from scratch.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years commercial experience
• Degree in art-related discipline or similar experience
• Strong portfolio shown artistic ability, knowledge of color science and basic composition.
• Deep knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator packages, After Effects will be a plus
• Ability to create stylized characters and environments
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of asset creation, understanding of the entire game production pipeline
• Startup mindset

Nice to have:

• Experience in leading a team of designers
• Experience in the game-dev industry and 1-2 games developed from idea to launch
• Experience in 3D modeling, texturing
• Experience with animation
• Experience of work with marketing material
