System Administrator/DevOps

Must have:

• Outstanding knowledge of Unix systems;
• Database administration skills (at least 2 of these: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Kafka);
• Strong scripting skills (at least 1 of the following: Python, Bash);
• Networking fundamentals (switching, routing, load balancing);
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills;
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, XEN, Hyper-V, etc.);
• 2 years' of relevant experience
• Good understanding and hands-on experience with Docker
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, such as Amazon Web Services, Rackspace or Google Cloud Platform
• Good experience with version control systems such as Git
• Upper-Intermediate English level is a must, Ukrainian or Russian native;

Will be a plus:

• Advanced Python 2, 3
• DBA experience, pl / pgsql
• Support of JVM-based software, performance tuning
• Containerization technologies: LXC / LXD, Docker, BSD jails
• Orchestration: Ansible, Mesos/Marathon

• Troubleshooting, alert and incident management
• Deployment, maintenance, administration and performance tuning of various DBMS
• Participation in software architecture / design / deployment activities
• Application build engineering, release management
• CI / CD implementation - we use Jenkins
• Capacity planning, cost management
