Senior Associate, Arbitration

We invite you to join the Arzinger team for the Senior Associate, Arbitration position. 

Responsibilities:

• representing clients in courts of all instances and in arbitration (commercial and investment);
• communication with clients, preparation of commercial offers and presentations (in Ukrainian, Russian and English languages);
• managing of clients' projects;
• legal support for projects of the practice;
• drafting procedural documents;
• advising clients on arbitration and international dispute resolution related issues;
• working with foreign co-counsel on cross-border projects;
• monitoring and analyzing of legislative changes, preparation of Newsletters and Legal Alerts;
• PR activity (publications, comments, conferences etc.).

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience;
• University (master's) degree in Law;
• bar certificate is an advantage;
• advanced level of English is a must.
• experience in handling arbitration proceedings (under arbitration rules of ICAC at the UCCI, UNCITRAL, ICC, VIAC, SCC, LCIA, ICSID etc.);
• experience in advising on arbitration and international dispute resolution related issues;
• experience in drafting key procedural documents (commercial and investment arbitration; civil and commercial courts on arbitration-related issues; commercial courts in cases considered under foreign law);
• strong analytical thinking, professional communication (oral and written) skills;
• knowledge of international standards and legal terminology applicable to drafting analytical and procedural documents;
• high level of presentation, time management, prioritization and research skills;
• ability to manage teamwork.

Expertise:

• contractual disputes (banking and international delivery, is an advantage);
• corporate disputes;
• corporate law and securities;
• disputes related to real estate and land;
• bankruptcy (is an advantage);
• antimonopoly disputes (is an advantage);
• enforcement proceedings.
