Procurement Buyer

Scope:

• Indirect procurement
• Industrial (technical) categories
• Yearly spend ~$3M
• Monthly requests count ~30-50
• Direct reports: no. Possible managing people within project group.

Responsibilities:

• Procurement process coordination on the plant, requestors training
• Initial split of the requests among the team based on approved category matrix
• Spot buy of low value items
• Contracts management
• Strategy development & execution within the own category of supply
• Savings plan development & execution
• Build relationships with internal clients across sites in Ukraine & neighboring countries
• Ensure interrupted supply by proactive & timely vendor selection & contracting
• Day-to-day improvement of work environment around oneself
• Project management
• Support European procurement managers in regional projects
• Support of custom clearance of the goods

Requirements:

• University degree
• Strong communication skills, able to persuade
• Leadership, presentation skills
• English - able to communicate
• Excel, Word strong user
• SAP/SRM knowledge. experience in procurement, category management is an advantage
• Positive, open & friendly
