Internal Control Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company's internal controls are designed and operating effectively
• Enhance awareness of internal controls' environment and compliance with policies and control requirements
• Assess changes in business processes, propose recommendation to ensure efficient controls environment
• Foresee any potential deterioration of control or opportunities for improvement and communicate them
• Provide necessary support to Process owners in relation to effective controls' operation
• Assist with the internal Policies & Procedures preparation and implementation process
• Perform interim and annual audit procedures for local controls testing
• Perform periodic reviews in different business areas - operational, financial and compliance
• Conduct interviews, observe documents, collect and analyze data
• Prepare working papers, findings' memos and presentations
• Close collaboration with internal and external auditors
• Follow up on internal and external audits findings, assist with action plan implementation and further testing
• Maintain relationships with Business process and Control owners, IT and other parties
• Participation in Bunge global projects representing Bunge Ukraine interests
• Participation in stock takes or other periodic reviews in Bunge Ukraine entities

Requirements:

• General understanding of business processes (experience in Agri Business will be an advantage)
• Good understanding of internal/external auditing practices
• Basic knowledge of accounting standards and principles (ACCA in progress or DipIFR will be a plus)
• Basic understanding of internal controls and SOX requirements
• Perfect communication skills and experience in conducting interviews
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Fluent English - both speaking and writing skills
• Experienced Excel user and ability to work with big databases
• Experience in Big4 will be an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage, or other accounting software (1C)
• Availability to short business travels to other Bunge Ukraine entities
• Ability to maintain subordination.
