Purpose of the job 

Our customer is one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world that builds data analytics and visualization software to improve the quality of processes and their performance. The goal of the project is the development of a new product for the setup, configuration, management, and monitoring of clinical trials.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support the development teams.

Main tasks and responsibilities   

•          Prototype and implement infrastructure in AWS cloud

•          Maintain and improve CI/CD and automated testing pipelines

•          Implement an approach for deploying web applications as containers

•          Work directly with engineers, QA testers to ensure coordinated releases

•          Plan, implement and improve monitoring and logging systems

•          Provide best practices for system availability and scalability

•          Perform root cause analysis for technical issues

Education, skills, and experience           

Must have:

•          7+ years of professional experience in the IT domain

•          3+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer

•          Experience working with Git/Github/Gitlab

•          Strong knowledge and experience of AWS platform

•          Experience in CI/CD implementation in Jenkins

•          Experience working with Docker Containers

•          Knowledge of network protocols (TCP, UDP, SSL, etc)

•          Problem-solving skills

Would be a plus:

•          Experience with CloudFoundry, EKS

Personal competencies     

•          Fluent English

•          Able to work independently and drive results
