Front-end (Angular) Engineer #11858

Purpose of the job:

Our client is developing modern solutions for accounting firms and corporations. They work constantly on creating various product improvements and innovations to positively impact such spheres as audit, financial reporting and data analytics. Platforms of our client are using artificial intelligence and machine learning to work with data and improve efficiency, quality and value for firms and their clients all over the world. They are over 30 years in the industry, having more than 500K users in 100+ countries and 15+ languages.

Currently there are a few different user sources for importing financial data into a client’s system. In addition, there is a possibility to develop custom import sources that external clients can connect. The focus of the team will be to leverage existing APIs of a few different systems and infrastructure to centralize all import workflows into a single unified user interface. This will provide a high quality experience for auditors and in addition allow to build more features on top. One of the areas of responsibility will be contributing to an integration architecture that can be adopted in other areas of the product.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research and evaluate technical options to implement business requirements
• Analyze and estimate implementation efforts
• Perform implementation, review and debugging of new content
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
• Maintain good code coverage for the deliverables
• Report to Team Lead about current tasks status
• Provide support to QA and other teams

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

MUST HAVE:

• 3+ commercial JavaScript/TypeScript development experience
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, including latest specifications
• Hands on Angular 2+ experience
• Problem solving abilities, fast research and learning skills
• Sufficient English level for communication (verbal and written)
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Would be a plus:

• Experience working with Node.js
