Purpose of the job:

Our customer is a global management consulting firm. Its clients are leading organization in public, private and social sectors all over the world. We are seeking an DevOps engineer who will work directly with the software engineering teams to help design, implement, troubleshoot, deploy, and support complex business applications.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prototype and implement infrastructure in AWS cloud.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD and automated testing pipelines.
• Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Ensure that software builds happen predictably, consistently, and reliably.
• Work directly with engineers, QA testers to ensure coordinated releases.
• Plan, implement and improve monitoring and logging systems.
• Provide best practices of system availability and scalability.
• Support regular cadence of security updates and hotfixes.
• Perform root cause analysis for technical issues.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

MUST HAVE:

• Experience in an DevOps/SRE role with an emphasis on deploying and handling environments in cloud platforms for at least for 2 years (AWS).
• Experience with containerization solutions and orchestrators (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• "Infrastructure as code" - experience with Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD systems.
• Familiarity with logging systems.
• Experience with monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of scripting languages.
• 2+ years of Linux administration experience.
• At least intermediate level of English.
• University Degree in Computer science or equivalent.

WOULD BE A PLUS:

• Working knowledge of database administration and SQL.
• Experience with CircleCI, Splunk, New Relic, HashiCorp Vault.
• Experience with Azure
