Senior Python Engineer #7220

Purpose of the job:

Perform research, design, implementation and support tasks as a member of Lohika R&D team. Work in a close contact with team members and customer while developing new product in the area of Marketing and Sales domain. 

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement production ready Simulator service using existing implementation in R code as a reference.
• Contribute to backend development of an analytics-enabled tool suite
• Take active part in requirements analyzes, research implementation ways and possibilities.
• Actively participate in researches, discussions and decisions on software architecture and internal coding, architectural, process and other standards
• Analyze and estimate implementation efforts
• Implement, review, support and debug required content
• Collaborate with other Dev, QA, PM both on Lohika and customer side
• Proactively raise technical risks and suggest measures against them
• Report to TL about current tasks status, technical and other risks

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

MUST HAVE:

• 4+ years of Python commercial development experience
• Knowledge of Pandas and/or data analysis experience
• Experience with micro services
• Docker, AWS
• Good English and communication skill
• Fast research and learning skills
• Team working experience in Agile/Scrum
• Knowledge of OOP, OOD, design patterns

WOULD BE A PLUS:

• JavaScript skills
• React/Redux knowledge
• Experience with R
