Java Engineer for Lohika Digital Media Agency Project

Purpose of the job:

Lohika company provides premium software engineering services to leading technology companies. Our customers usually range from startup to high growth and VC backed companies, which drives a culture of acceleration and innovation. Our current customer, a digital agency, is establishing links between the brand and consumers. The agency is more than 400 people strong, manages over $600MM in media spend and deploys campaigns in 70 markets in many cities around the world. Our customer provides services for companies such as Google, Viber, etc.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Obtain tasks from Team Lead and execute the tasks within set deadlines and specified quality objectives.
• Write high quality, testable and efficient code
• Take part in all aspects of the development cycle
• Work in a close contact with customer teams, provide technical solutions, add value to the product
• Initiate and promote new ideas for continuous improvement of the product functionality
• Communicate in verbal and written form with customer
• Research and evaluate technical options to implement assigned features
• Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product
• Constantly improve his/her professional level

Education, skills and experience:

• 3+ years of full cycle commercial development experience
• Java 8
• Concurrency Programming
• JUnit, Mockito, Powermock
• Maven, JaCoCo, PMD
• CI/CD using Maven
• Git
• Upper-intermediate level of English

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Talend
• Experience with AdTech domain
• Experience with TDD
