Java Engineer #7083

As Middle Java engineer you will work as part of a team building a microservices architecture application within SpringBoot stack. You'll participate in features implementation, bug fixing, code coverage efforts, grooming and other ceremonies used by the team. It is expected that you'll play technical owner role for your work assignments. Our client is a leader in its industry, a world-wide known name, and project is connected with remote management of cutting-edge hardware equipment.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Obtain tasks from Team Lead and execute the tasks within set deadlines and specified quality objectives.
• Report to Team Lead about feature readiness/quality.
• Participate in functional and architectural design of assigned features.
• Research and evaluate technical options to implement assigned features.
• Provide estimations of feature scope and splits it into tasks.
• Proactively raise technical risks and provide mitigation plans.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product.
• Collaborates with other R&D and QA teams.
• Constantly improves his/her professional level.
  

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

MUST HAVE:

• 2+ years of hands-on technical experience on Java
• Commercial experience in SpringBoot stack
• Commercial experience using gradle, Kafka, MongoDB (or another NoSQL DB), docker
• Commercial experience of building REST API
• OOP, OO Design Patterns
• Deep knowledge of Java Core
• Knowledge of git
• Team working experience
• Intermediate+ English (verbal and written)
