PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Our customer takes the leading position in mobile security. It's a highly-loaded system in cloud with millions of users.

You will build a massively scalable platform that enables ingestion of security events, dynamic and near-real-time analysis and delivery of data set to internal and user-facing applications. You will be a key contributor to enable products and technologies to feed and feed off of Mobile Threat Network. Lohika team is responsible for expanding and maintenance of multiple core services in cloud. The team works in close contact with stakeholders on customer's side.

You will have a chance to:

• Contribute to highly-loaded application in cloud
• Take end-to-end ownership for production services
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and development.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take end-to-end ownership for multiple core services, including deployment to production and support.
• Guide team development and testing efforts towards successful project delivery
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
• Actively participate in researches, discussions and decisions on software architecture and internal coding, architectural, process and other standards
• Do risks management
• Implement, review, support and debug required content
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Ruby or/and Java or/and Scala
• Strong background in cloud services and distributed systems, preferably AWS
• Experience with services and microservices
• Unit testing experience
• Design review experience
• DevOps experience (Spinnaker knowledge is a big plus)
• Team management experience
• Advanced English level for communication (verbal & written)
• Good communication and collaboration skills

WOULD BE A PLUS

• Experience with the high-loaded system, fault tolerance
• Proficient in Scala or a willingness to learn
• Experience with billing systems integration
• DB optimization skills
