Communications Manager/Business Partner for Crop Science Division

Bayer Ltd, a leading multinational company, is opening a position of Communications Manager/Business Partner for Crop Science Division 

Major tasks and responsibilities: 

• Development and execution of communication activities for the CS division to strengthen Bayer’s position as a leader in Agriculture: 
  • Develop and maintain contacts with media, drive positive media coverage about the company through proactive media relations activities such as press releases, articles, speeches, awareness campaigns, AG Media Club, plant and field visits, etc.
  • Design internal communication programs, develop appealing content and organize events to drive employee engagement and raise business awareness via employee newsletter, interviews, meetings, social media and Intranet posts.
  • Manage corporate websites and pages in social media – content plan development and execution (writing and design of publications).
  • Support leadership communication and tell Crop Science stories to maximize influence.
  • Issues and crisis management – proactive monitoring of external environment and media; preparation of media statements for issue communication, responses to customers; 
  • Keep close co-operation with global/regional communication community and drive innovation initiatives, communication campaigns, best practice exchange.

Skills, experience and qualifications: 

• Degree in communications, journalism, sociology or philology.
• Five-year experience in communications and/or public affairs, preferably in the Agricultural sector.
• Solid knowledge and skills in content development/storytelling, project management. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating cross-functionally.
• Creative, passionate and positive.
• Advanced knowledge of English.
