Market Development Representative in Uman

Bayer Ltd, a leading multinational company, is opening a position of Market Development Representative in Uman

Major tasks and responsibilities:

• Execute Market Development field research program
• Manage data using internal database systems and prepare summaries as required to meet business needs and packages to support solutions and positioning as required
• Identify business need for technical information - Seed, Trait, Biologicals, Crop Protection, Agronomic Systems - for the local geography that assists in driving commercial business
• Develop and validate field protocols including treatments, site assignments and data to be collected along with ensuring all materials (seed/chemistry) are supplied to field investigator. 
• Act as Technical Lead for New Commercial offerings in Seed, Trait, Biologicals and Crop Protection for local geography
• Address key technical issues (i.e. weed resistance management) and support communication to stakeholders (i.e. Agronomy, academics)  and identify opportunities for research collaborations
• Complete safety and driving training as required
• Recruit, hire and manage summer assistants
• Operate in full compliance with regulated/stewardship field trials.

Qualifications:  

• MSc/PhD  with  a minimum of 5 years experience
• Superior understanding of crop production which includes relevant crops for the region.
• Integrates and incorporates new products into agronomic systems and make recommendations on adjustments to cropping systems.
• Organizes and execute a high quality assigned field research trial program
• Leads development of high priority research protocols in one or more areas to meet business needs. 
• Lead efforts to maximize operational team efficiency.
• Has relationships with and is recognized as a subject expert.
