DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer

We're looking for DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities:

• build and maintain highly available scaling systems
• improve and keeping up to date CI/CD pipelines;
• implement configuration management and CI/CD pipelines for new services by using industry best practices and tools;
• provide release and application support for developers and QA;
• ensure high uptime (99.999%+) and response time for Kubenetes cluster and production environment;
• ensure accessibility, integration, performance and security for all tools used in the product life cycle
• provide day-to-day operational support of mission-critical systems and services
• Root Cause Analysis for all production outages
• improve monitoring and alerting systems

About your team:

A team of 30+ SW & QA Engineers + 3 System Administrators, working on a cloud security product and a few mobile native products in the parental control and video editing domains.

The products have a massive back-end, using MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, Nginx, PHP-FPM. Web part is developed on PHP (Symfony Framework). The team is actively working at the optimization of our development process, implementing CI, auto-tests.

Requirements:

• 5+ years' proven experience as a DevOps engineer with production environment
• 2+ years' experience of using Kubernetes in production environment in multiple colocations environment with physical assets
• 3+ years' experience in building pipelines in jenkins or similar tools
• 3+ years' experience with container and virtualization using Docker, proxmox, KVM;
• 5+ years' experience in Nginx, PHP-FPM, Mysql, Mongo, Postgres, Rabbit, Redis, ElasticSearch, SMTP/IMAP
• 5+ years' experience of working/administration with Debian/Solaris;
• network system engineer background strongly required
• deep knowledge in Unix-like systems including kernel subsystems, system calls, inter-process communication, process / resource management, file systems, networking, protocols, sockets etc
• deep knowledge in security field;
• deep knowledge in network field including knowledge of BGP, network file systems like glusterfs, network profiling etc;
• experience with microsevice and monolith architecture
• experience with monitoring systems Zabbix, Graphite, Grafana, Sentry, ELK
• ability to write complex scripts (shell/python/perl);
• experience with IT Automation Software with any tools like puppet, chef or ansible;
• sufficient English to understand the documentation;
• experience with incident management and on-call rotation
• familiar with continuous deployment strategies (blue/green, canary)
