Accountant / analyst

We are seeking an accountant with strong analytical skills to work on development of accounting software. The successful candidate is expected to have good understanding of accounting theory and as well as hand-on experience in bookkeeping of limited liability companies in Ukraine. Familiarity and experience with accounting of foreign entities would be a big plus.

The important duties would be:

• Assist software developers by providing descriptions of accounting procedures related to salary calculation, VAT, cost calculation and similar.
• Check correctness of implementations and calculations
• Communicate with customers using the software, register their feedback and provide training
• Keep current of mandatory requirements and pending law changes which might result in the need to update the software
• Keep books of foreign registered LLC
  

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Analytical mindset
• General understanding of various reporting schemes (Ukrainian, IFRS, US GAAP)
• Good organization and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work
• Demonstrated ability to research and resolve problems.
  

Minimum Qualifications:

Four years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in the role of chief accountant / head of department / equivalent experience.
