Junior Accountant

Currently, we are looking for a Junior Accountant for our constantly growing Finance Department at CIENCE.

Daily To-Dos:

• Review invoices, expense reports for accurate coding to the general ledger.
• Assist in preparing accurate, compliant and timely balance sheet/ income statement/ other standard financial reporting reconciliations as assigned.
• Prepare accurate and timely bank account reconciliation and credit card expenses for accurate coding to the general ledger.
• Assist with Fixed Asset module close process.
• Run and distribute month-end and ad-hoc reports.
• Research and analyze data as requested.
• Assist the department in creating new processes and implementing new systems as the organization continues to evolve and grow.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Similar — completed or in progress
• Intermediate level of English
• Strong analytical skills
• Attention to details
• Confident user of Excel, knowledge of 1C, SAP, Client bank programs would be a plus
• Previous professional experience with Xero and/or QuickBooks programs would be a plus
