Middle Python Developer

You will be responsible for the development, support and optimization of high-performance code. 

As there are no quality assurance engineers on the team, you will also have to write and run tests. Your other responsibilities will include development of serverless/microservices applications, deployment of code, promotion of builds across environments, estimating efforts to build, and automation of workflow, configuration and environments.

Your Team

You'll be working on a brand-new team whose responsibility will be to architect and develop a service that will allow internal teams to monitor their entire stack for problems affecting end users.

What We Expect of You

We are looking for someone who has already acquired the skills needed to qualify for a middle-level engineering position. However, we understand full well that our product is a complex mix of Python and Java and also some front-end parts, and no one will be a perfect fit. With this in mind, we are willing to teach/coach/mentor you and provide you with the support needed to grow fast.

Other requirements include:

• 2+ years developing in Python;
• Experience with any web framework;
• Any experience with Java;
• Experience with Docker and configuration management;
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL or any other);
• Experience with NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch or any other);
• Experience with in-memory caches (Redis, Memcached or any other);
• Intermediate English.

• Experience with AWS or any other cloud provider infrastructure (Lambda, API GAteway, Kinesis, S3, EC2, DynamoBD, SQS);
• Experience with distributed systems;

• Experience with Apache Kafka, ZeroMQ, RabbitMQ, Spark, Hadoop;
