Jr. Systems Administrator

As a Jr. Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting SPS Commerce's Ukrainian office of around 70 developers.

What We Expect of You

• Understanding of service support principles;
• Demonstrated technical understanding of computers, mobile devices (Android and iOS), networks, and Windows OS (10 Enterprise) and MacOS (Yosemite and later);
• Strong working knowledge of Active Directory;
• Knowledge and experience with Office 365 (Email, Calendaring, OneDrive for Business, and SharePoint);
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
• 3+ years of experience;
• Intermediate+ English (your whole team will be based in the USA, so you'll have to able to talk to them on a daily basis without any discomfort).

The job involves:

• Providing technical assistance to end user corporate desktop configurations, including but not limited to: Windows laptops, MacBook laptops, office productivity software, end user email, and internet connectivity;
• Ensuring the individuals in the organization have the proper laptop configuration resources to efficiently do their job while maintaining budget and goals of the organization;
• Administering and configuring corporate laptop configurations for SPS Commerce. This includes but is not limited to imaging, provisioning, and deploying laptops, desktops, and mobile devices using SCCM and JAMF;
• Providing advanced troubleshooting and resolutions for Windows/MacOS hardware and software/applications both onsite and via remote connections;
• Performing approved software installations on SPS Commerce devices;
• Collaborating closely with the Corporate Engineering and other Corporate Technology teams;
• Interacting with various departments and being the primary contact for Windows/MacOS based application troubleshooting and configuration;
• Creating and maintaining process, system and troubleshooting documentation;
• Assisting with the preparation and implementation of system upgrades and special projects;
• Managing Active Directory (including adds/moves/changes of accounts);
• Network troubleshooting;
• Supporting printing services;
• Inventory maintenance, tracking, and the approved procurement of end-user technology such as user laptops, peripherals, software, and printers;
• Assisting in the configuration and creation of employee access badges.
