Senior Android Developer

Aimprosoft, a fast-growing outsourcing IT company, is looking for a Senior Android Developer. This role offers dynamic work in the multinational environment, as it deals with US and Western European B2B/B2C markets.

About the project: 

The Hub is a robust business chat with diverse functionality that enables convenient and seamless communication. The app allows users to make video and audio calls and view a news feed to keep up with the company’s updates. They can send and receive photos, videos, documents, and voice messages. The Hub allows users to create rooms and group chats so that they can easily stay in touch with their colleagues. Users can also access messages from all their devices at once. For instance, users can start typing on their phone and finish the message from a tablet or laptop.

Stack:

Language: Kotlin 

3rd party: RxJava 2, Dagger 2, Retrofit, SMACK stack, XMPP, SIP, REST API

Responsibilities:

• Development of native applications for Android
• Requirements analysis
• Bug fixing and improving performance of the applications
• Publishing and support of the applications on Google Play

Required skills:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Android development
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Java, Kotlin
• Strong experience working with REST API 
• Experience with RxJava 2, RxAndroid
• Experience with Firebase
• Experience working with Android Jetpack components
• Understanding of MVP, MVVM patterns, Clean Architecture
• English level — Intermediate and higher

Nice to have:

• Experience with Dependency Injection
• Experience with Realm
• Experience with Kotlin Coroutines
