Embeded Software Engineer

Our Embeded Software Unit based in Lviv is part of Solution Development Department of Medical Electronics in Germany. Currently our unit in Ukraine is looking for

Embedded SW Engineer - based in Lviv

with following responsibilities:

• SW development for Linux embedded, and OS-less applications for components of medical devices
• Wide range of testing activities - writing of test scripts, unit testing, unit and integration testing, creation of testing environment etc.
• Creation of all project-related documentation
• Visits of customer's site (Germany, China) for integration and testing and support of SW developed, several times a year

and competences:

• Completed university studies in any one of the engineering disciplines - Computer Sciences, Electronics Engineering
• At least 3-4 years of experience as an embedded software developer
• Proper communicational skills, spoken English is a must, German is an additional advantage
• Extensive experience in programming with C/C++
• Good knowledge of microcontrollers architecture and methodology of SW development (ARM9 for Linix and and Cortex M for deep embedded solutions)
• Hands-on experience with Linux embedded
• Basic understanding of electronics (hardware)
• Knowledge of operating systems including scheduling, memory management, inter-process communication
• Good knowledge and experience of TCP/IP socket programming
• Experience in object-oriented software architecture design
• Additional Preferrable Knowledge: Experience with development of device drivers for Linux
