Middle System Administrator

OpsWorks Co. is a Ukraine-based IT engineering company. We specifically focus on providing professional DevOps and System Administration Services, delivering complex Engineering Solutions and Digital Transformation. We are looking to expand our team with an experienced Middle System Administrator who will help us to ensure that we meet our customers' demands of service delivery and QoS. This is a full-time and a long-term position. The position implies working with the latest technology stack and constant growth within the role. As a part of our support team, you will be responsible for providing system administration services to clients worldwide and guarantee reliability, availability and high performance of the underlying infrastructure.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for remote customers and development teams;

• Monitor and diagnose distributed systems, escalate and fix issues;

• Support and maintenance internal server infrastructure;

• Automate tasks and configuration on cloud and on-premise environments;

• DevOps department ongoing support;

• Consult clients and write technical documentation.

Your Qualifications/Skills:

• At least 3 years of working experience in related field;

• Strong knowledge of Linux systems (RHEL-Based and Debian-Based);

• Windows server administration skills (Active Directory stack);

• Experience with at least one of the scripting languages: Bash//Python/PowerShell;

• Networking fundamentals (switching, routing, load balancing);

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, XEN, Hyper-V, etc.);

• Database administration skills (MySQL, MSSQL);

• Web projects support experience (LAMP/WAMP);

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills;

• Intermediate English level is a must, Ukrainian or Russian native;

• Strong time management skills.

Preferred:

• Certifications (CCNA, RHCE, MCP, etc.);

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP);

• Deep Linux/Windows debugging and performance tuning skills;

• Web hosting support experience.
