Senior Delphi Developer

  Itera is looking for a Senior Delphi Developer who will join international team to work on one of Vizrt projects. Purpose is to migrate existing video streaming solution to newer Delphi version (Rio) and its further integration with .Net modules. Ukrainian-based team of 3-4 people is expected to work under supervision from Norwegian manager to deliver high quality software to Customer.

  We are looking for an open-minded person, who confess continuous self-development and able to solve challenging tasks. Who will be in touch with Ukrainian colleagues, Norwegian managers and tech leads. Short term business trips to Bergen, Norway could take place during work.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Direct communication with Customer to gather technical requirements
• Suggest development solutions, technical improvements
• Make decisions related to architecture
• Deliver high-quality code and documentation
• Provide unit and integration testing of implemented modules

Professional requirements:

• At least 4 years in software development
• Commercial experience with latest Delphi versions (Berlin and higher, at least be familiar with them)
• Practical experience with migration to new Delphi versions
• Upper-intermediate English (you must be able to talk to Norwegian managers regularly)
• Good knowing of design patterns and design principles (SOLID, KISS, MVC)

Be a plus:

• Experience with 3D graphics/rendering and video streaming
• Knowledge of databases
• Experience with libraries DevExpress, Indy, DOA, JCL
• Knowledge and practical experience with .Net
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Understanding and experience of CI/CD processes
