Senior Test Engineer

Itera is looking for Senior QA Engineer to join project for media company, whose present activities are related to media products in the field of newspapers, online classifieds, publishing, multimedia and mobile services. Customer is using a complex invoicing solution based on combination of different heterogeneous technologies and applications producing the invoices data. Customer is based in Oslo, Norway. Qualified candidate has to be initiative, fast learning person that can quickly grasp technical and business aspects of the specified industry. Strong communication skills are essential.

Short trips to Oslo (Norway) are possible.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Being main responsible for testing at the project and product quality
• Estimate and plan test activities in the project
• Communicate with business users, developers
• Ongoing manual functional testing
• Perform bug tracking and reporting
• Support acceptance testing by end users
• Report to PM and client

Professional requirements:

• At least 4+ year experience within software testing
• Experience of doing overall QA & Testing on project
• Deep understanding of core testing processes
• Experience in test planning and estimating
• Knowledge of bug tracking tool(s) and process
• Experience in creating test cases, test design
• Experience of work in distributed environment, dynamic team
• Experience with web-services testing

Be a plus:

• Experience with invoicing solutions and finance domain
• Experience of direct communication with client
• Basic TA skills
• ISTQB certification
