IT Sales Manager

IT Sales Manager is an enthusiastic, motivated & determined person who proactively reaches out to businesses within our verticals to introduce them to our services and set appointments for further discussions and demos. This position is for an outgoing & persistent individual who thinks critically and is familiar with online sales techniques including working with freelance and job bidding portals, outreach through social media, cold-calling and long term email nurture campaigns. This individual must be able to determine which efforts produce the best results and to adapt quickly to produce the most effective & strategic outbound campaigns. Experience in IT, software, marketing services and web design sales is a MUST.

Do not apply if you are not looking to actively participate in the sales process. Our managers should be working with business analyst and marketing managers 30% of the time and the other 70% of the time should be spent actively selling.

While you will be actively involved in making sales, we prefer someone with experience managing a sales team, setting up a new sales team and experience with outbound call center (setup, cold calling training, evaluation and techniques).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Selling software development, web design, consulting and marketing services 
  • Preparing sales proposals, bids and quotes 
  • Meeting Company Sales Targets 
  • Warm Lead Calling 
  • Demonstrating and Explaining Product and Services 
  • Monitoring & Replying Sales Calls and Requests 
  • Recapturing missed appointments

In order to be effective in selling products and services, our Sales Manager: 

  • Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors 
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor 
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers 
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature 
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses 
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. 
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments 
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management 
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies 
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales 
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
