We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. Set short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluate effectiveness of current sales programs. Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.

  • The successful candidate will understand what motivates customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reporting to VP.

Background: 

We are in the stage of expanding our global operations to Ukraine and Russia. We operate on two channels in which we sell off-the-shelf software licenses and carry out projects to implement these products for the customers:

  1. Supply Chain - JDA Software.
  2. ERP - Priority software.

The activity is relatively new and the atmosphere is a start-up atmosphere whose success depends highly on the success of the sales rep.

What is he going to do?

The Sales Rep will work alone. He/she will receive professional and technical support (Presale) regarding the products sold from the team in Israel, in English, but the Sales Rep will perform all marketing and sales activities on his own.

The Sales Rep needs to penetrate a new market, raise awareness of the product while performing a variety of marketing activities, take advantage of his connections, develop new relationships with consultants, business partners, and clients, and open doors of medium-sized companies in Ukraine and Russia.

Once the Sales Rep locates the customer, he/she will reach out to the customer's decision-makers, generate a meeting or two with them including a Powerpoint presentation of the organization and the proposed system.

The Sales Rep will generate great interest in the client and a desire to move forward with the process. The Israeli team will perform the rest of the technical presentations of the systems. The Sales Rep will accompany the meetings, translate when necessary, and become the customer's trusted advisor. He will accompany the process until the contract is signed and the project manager takes it over.

The required experience:

At least 10 years of experience in sales and marketing.

5 years of software sales experience.

A born salesman with proven success in sales of hundreds of thousands of euros and up to a few millions.

Advantage- Has connections to medium-sized companies/ factories, and consultants in the field of enterprise software, IT.

Ability to work independently.

Self-taught with a high learning curve.

Good command of the English language - writing and speaking.

Ability to bring quick results and strive for the target - the ability to close a deal.

Good control of the MS OFFICE tools (including PowerPoint).

Advantage - Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems - SAP ERP, SAP Business One, ORACLE ERP, NetSuite,  Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft Dynamics Nav, Sage, Odoo, C1, Salesforce etc.

Advantage - knowledge of business processes in organizations/factories.

Long-distance runner - We are looking for someone to be with us for at least 5-10 years.
