Chief Accountant

As the Chief Accountant you will be supporting the business by providing timely and reliable financial reports. You will be ensuring financial data compliance, statutory and legal requirements. This position addresses a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Control of accounting and tax accounting
• Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, , calculate depreciations in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules. make sure that the processes are in compliance with Ukrainian Legislation
• reconcile cash, bank accounts and reports . Plan and optimize the local Cash Flow, tracking AR
• Payroll accrual
• Ensure accurate and in-timely report, creating for Tax Authorities, Social Funds and Statistics covering corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax etc.
• To control the transfer prices process (adjustment, report, documentation)
• Contact with Tax Authorities for reconciliation of tax balances with tax offices
• Managing internal & external audits
• Assist to senior management to improve existed procedures, systems
• Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.
• Coaches and supports less experienced accounting staff and helps to resolve problems.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of experience on similar position or as a Deputy of Chief Accountant
• A university degree in Accounting/ Finance, Economics or similar field
• Proficiency in MS Excel and 1C accounting system
• Good knowledge of Tax regulations and Accounting standards
• Experience in procedures and systems implementation will be an asset
• Good knowledge of English (Intermediate)
• Strong sense of independency and responsibility
• Attention to details
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
