Junior QA Engineer

N-iX is looking for a talented Junior QA Engineer who can become a part of our team and contribute new ideas into product development. Our client is the world's leading auto retailer with ~150 dealerships specializing in high-end and premium cars. We are helping them in their digital transformation journey and running multiple projects for their IT department and their numerous subsidiaries. One of the client's businesses is running the country's biggest award-winning used car supermarket platform. Their offerings include selling and buying used cars, warranty, and insurance coverage as well as car financing and servicing. We are starting the project to implement the replacement of some of the 3rd party services currently in use and enhance and improve the business managers toolset and decision making efficiency.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements analysis and clarification
  • Development and maintenance of Test Cases
  • Performing different types of testing: functional, compatibility, usability, performance, load, localization, regression
  • Testing web applications
  • API testing
  • Bug reporting and tracking

 

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of enterprise software product quality assurance experience
  • English level - Upper-Intermediate
  • Knowledge of web services
  • Knowledge of client-server architecture 
  • Knowledge of defect Management/tracking tools (e.g. JIRA) 
  • Basic knowledge of MS SQL
  • Experience in Agile development and Scrum framework

 

Would be a plus:

  • Experience in performance (response, load, etc...) testing
  • Experience with testing web services using tools such as Postman
