About the client:

Our client is a Belgium-based company that has been on the market for over 25 years. The company develops and manufactures smart fittings for fencing and gates. Its products are specifically designed to ensure secure and controlled access to residential and industrial properties.

About the project:

Our professional team at N-iX is working on developing a solution that can ensure a safe and easy yet controlled access to the premises. The scope of our work encompasses prototype design, communication protocol configuration as well as firmware & hardware development.In this role, you will be responsible for developing firmware for the complex network system with the custom network protocol and leading a team of professional embedded engineers.

Requirements:

• Practical experience leading the team
• 8+ years' experience in embedded software development for ARM (a must) and other popular architectures
• Experience in designing software for embedded systems
• Good knowledge of GCC
• Experience working with Bluetooth and other wireless technologies (e.g. Sub-GHz frequencies)
• Good understanding of digital electronics, communication interfaces, and protocols
• Good knowledge of typical RTOS and "bare metal" embedded development techniques

Would be a plus:

• Working experience related to Power line communication
• Experience with LoRa
• Experience related to Embedded Linux development
