Senior lawyer

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support of investment projects
• Monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly;
• Provide and interpret legal information, disseminate appropriate legal requirements;
• Represent and protect the company interests in courts and at different levels of authority, manage progress of outstanding litigation;
• Review and draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements; assess implications that need to be brought to the executive management's attention;
• Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management and shareholders;
• Provide continuous leadership, supervision, training and development of department staff ensuring an effective and motivated team.

Requirements:

• A Law degree, a postgraduate degree in management will be a plus;
• At least 3 years of professional legal experience in a business environment;
• Knowledge of, and experience in advising on investment projects;
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills;
• Strong leadership and managerial skills;
• Fluency in the English language;
• A valid driver's licence;
• Readiness for relocation (Western Ukraine)
