Road Operations Specialist (European Market)

We are an American based company with more than 10 years of experience in Logistics and Transportation in the USA, looking for a Sea Freight and Rail Operations Specialist to join our Lviv office team.

Essential job functions

• Cooperate with the other team departments such as emergency, air and sea freight & rail to ensure alternative road solutions for them;
• Help to develop a database of carriers;
• Develop relationships with the active road partners;
• Monitoring transport costs and performance;
• Negotiates every spot transport to help grow company profit.

Minimum requirements:

• Highly experienced road operations specialist minimum 5 years experience in the field
• Being able to quote any road solution from LTL to FTL export from Romania to Europe, triangular shipment across Europe and imports to Romania, specific quotations by weight per shipment, by LDM on lanes, road tenders included
• Closely team up with the sales team to help develop customer portfolio on road projects
• Have a commercial overview, knows the market, market regulation
• Compulsory: knows the carriers in Romania and across Europe.
