Senior legal counsel

Association of Gas Producers of Ukraine the largest union of the independent gas producing companies. The Association's members are: DTEK Oil&Gas, Esco Pivnich, Ukrnaftoburinnya, Smart Energy, Poltava Petroleum Company, Zakhidnadraservis, Geo Alliance Group, KUB-Gas and Struinaftogaz.
Our goal is to promote energy and economic security of Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• Full legal support of the Association activities;
• performing legal research and monitoring of legislation changes in the oil and gas sector, providing legal reviews and preparing presentations;
• drafting changes to the oil and gas legislation in cooperation with members, partners of the Association and relevant State bodies;
• conducting analysis of domestic and international legislation and providing relevant reports;
• introducing changes in the corporate documentation and legal registration of such changes;
• responsible  dealing with State bodies and agencies (notary, state registers, state tax inspection etc.);
• participation in working meetings, and industry events, upholding the Association's position when necessary;
• coordination of the Legal department, which includes management of junior staff.

Requirements:

• Excellent analytical, research, legal writing and communication skills;
• minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience;
• mastery of the English language.
