Junior Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer

Onseo is the software development company, passionate in creating Casino Games, Poker Products and Sports Betting Solutions for the wide range of mobile and desktop platforms: iOS, Android, Web, Mac and PC.

Now, we are looking for Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer.

NOC Engineer is responsible for monitoring and supporting company production system and application related issues.

NOC Engineer would play a key role by coordinating operations and engineering teams in order to identify and triage outages, verify service impact to the users, send out status updates, dispatch the appropriate subject matter experts, liaising with 3rd party suppliers and identify root cause to implement a fix.

The working environment is intensive and demands working in irregular hours including 24/7 shifts.

Requirements:

• IT Technical support skills with knowledge of operating system (Windows and Unix based OS) and software

• Basic knowledge in gambling (SportsBetting) and internet applications/technology

• Knowledge of incident management and ticketing systems (JIRA, Zendesk)

• Knowledge and ability to work with/set up monitoring systems/applications (Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, Kibana)

• Knowledge and ability to work with Jenkins

• Providing the L2 24|7 technical support for the partners

• Processing & triaging incoming L2-L3 requests for the technical support service

• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve issues or escalate to another department

• Good communications skills, intermediate, upper intermediate oral and writing level of English

• Basic troubleshooting and problem solving skills

• Ability and motivation to work in team and in rotating shifts

• Ability to plan work, make fast decisions, stay highly concentrated in stressful workflow situations.

• 24/7 shifts

• Players support, resolving incoming issues in a friendly and customer oriented way

• Turn poor user experience into a positive one

• Providing prompt and accurate feedback to requesters

• Escalate issues to proper management with complete information when needed

• Deployment of pre-prod and prod builds
