DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Project Implementation 
  • Support the organization and participate in outreach sessions, meetings and other relevant events with target communities, audiences, partners and local authorities.
  • Participate in the identification, assessment and verification processes for beneficiary selection for activities under the project, including grant distribution, scholarship distribution and training delivery. 
  • Participate in the activities under school outreach campaign.
  • Engage with relevant local authority departments to facilitate project implementation.
  • Ensure proper communication and engagement with all stakeholders and beneficiaries.
  • Contribute to the appropriate documentation of all processes and activities and transparency in all aspects of project implementation.
  • Work with Appraisal, Monitoring and Evaluation team, participate in M&E activities as relevant.
  • Contribute to internal reporting.
  • Carry out other duties as requested by the Project Officer on Economic Empowerment.
  • Ensure compliance with ACTED policies during project implementation, as well as related COVID-19 mitigation protocols (for protection of beneficiaries and staff). 

2. External Relations

  • Where requested, participate in coordination with local authorities, external partners and relevant coordination groups (Food Security and Livelihood Cluster).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Economics / other relevant field.
  • Experience in humanitarian aid or development project implementation will be considered an advantage.
  • Fluent in Russian and Ukrainian.
  • Data management skills (Microsoft Office). 
  • High level of flexibility and motivation.
  • Competency in English would be an advantage.
