Data Processing Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Designing and maintaining the individual beneficiary assessment databases for assigned project activities;
• Designing and maintaining the master database for all activities under ACTED project;
• Supporting project team and ACTED technical teams as necessary in data cleaning, data processing, data analysis and data visualization;
• Leading dashboard design and other data visualization with relevant data;
• Designing questionnaires and tools for data collection including mobile data collection tools in Kobo toolbox;
• Providing other support to assigned program team and other teams as necessary; 
• Supporting Data Visualization and GIS Officer in geocoding data for GIS analysis, when necessary; 
• Supporting the development and overseeing the implementation of any vulnerability scoring or beneficiary selection frameworks relevant to assigned project; 

Key Performance Indicators

• Establishment of project database
• Number of data collection/analysis tools developed

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, GIS, Statistics, Information Systems, Social Sciences or any relevant discipline;
• Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian required, English is an advantage;
• Essential minimum technical qualifications:
  1. Advanced skills with MS Excel;
  2. Experience with mobile data collection tools (ODK, KOBO) design;
• Data visualization experience using Power BI is an advantage;
• Flexibility and adaptability to ever-changing needs and responsibilities;
• Ability to work independently, willingness to learn;
• Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Previous experience with NGOs is an advantage; 
• Familiarity with the aid system and understanding of donor and governmental requirements is an advantage;
