Head of Documentation unit

Project Overview:

Intellias is seeking an igniter, who will lead by example and grow our Documentation unit. In your daily duties, you will collaborate with our smart Documentation Engineers and a number of departments, including Business Process Management, Talent Delivery, Administrative, Sales & Marketing to contribute to Intellias sustainability and growth through corporate knowledge management and business process documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Define documentation development strategy;
• Set up and monitor the adherence to performance and quality KPIs;
• Manage the backlog of the Documentation unit;
• Inspire, mentor and support Documentation Engineers in their daily activities;
• Allocate documentation requests to make the best use of talents and strengths;
• Estimate, schedule and review documentation deliverables: policies, standards, instructions, knowledge base articles, FAQs, how-to videos, success stories, newsletters, blog posts and more;
• Elevate the quality of documentation deliverables and collaboration with the Documentation unit through feedback analysis;
• Conduct interviews to hire top writing talent;
• Plan and manage the budget of the Documentation unit.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-year successful experience in driving projects that involve a team of at least 5 engineers;
• C1 level of English;
• Analytical thinking and content architecture skills;
• Excellent communication, leadership and presentation skills;
• Experience in requirement analysis, effort estimating, project scheduling, risk and change management;
• Flexibility, emotional maturity.

Will be a plus:

• Strong drafting, copy editing, reviewing and multitasking skills;
• Expert at textual and visual forms of storylining;
• Expertise in developing effective corporate knowledge hubs;
• Hands-on knowledge of publication style guides, documentation best practices, and trends;
• Profound knowledge of IT business processes, SDLC, and DDLC.
