Strong Middle Typescript Software Engineer

Project Overview:

The team specializes in open source technology that allows automakers and the broader industry to deliver location-enabled client services in a secure, cost effective, and scalable manner. Our *Open Location Platform*enables businesses to enrich their offerings with location data, using powerful machine-learning techniques to process data on the server and client.

As a member of engineering team, your key responsibilities are to:

• Design and develop software embedded platforms and participates in full software lifecycle from requirements to production deployment and support of next-generation connected vehicle products;
• Support the development and launch of new and enhanced vehicle connected services;
• Develop and direct software system test procedures, programming and documentation;
• Review code and design;
• Analyze and improve efficiency and stability of system resources;
• Consult with customer concerning requirements and/or maintenance of software system;
• Assess third party and open source software.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone who is willing to take an active role in an agile development team and to participate in the Scrum ceremonies as well as the team's planning activities. In addition, we are interested to hear about your experience in the following:

• 5-8 years of professional experience as a web developer;
• Professional experience in JavaScript and/or TypeScript programming language and web service development;
• Experience working with embedded or constrained hardware environments;
• Strong will to be creative, while producing continuously reviewable artefacts;
• Strong ability to conquer new skills in a self-reliant manner;
• Affinity to produce high quality results and to take the necessary steps to ensure software quality;
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
