Senior Front-End Engineer

Edvantis opens the positions of a Senior Front-End Engineer to join the project of our US-based partner. The software manages the working process of veterinary care for objects of animal origin, providing greater visibility in animal protection, automation of treatment plans. The solution provides support for the scientific research process. Now, it is deploying to AWS. Our clients provide an integrated suite of SaaS solutions that improve collaboration between researchers and administrators, help mitigate compliance risks, and simplify every stage of the research lifecycle. You will work in a highly motivated team with experienced developers.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with developers on the team and client side
• Developing, maintaining, and innovating web apps and services
• Code review, code optimization
• Team planning, proper estimations, commitments
• Creating a technical vision
• Possible business trips

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a front-end developer
• Experience with Backbone/Marionette UI framework a plus
• Experience with modern JavaScript UI frameworks
• Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Strong understanding of software design and architecture
• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence)
• Solid communication skills with demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
• English level - Upper-Intermediate
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
