Middle C++ Embedded Developer

Edvantis opens the positions of a C++ Embedded Developer for one of the largest public transportation companies in Sweden. We are cooperating with our customers for 6 years. Edvantis has implemented a solution for the ticketing system. Now the customer would like to integrate payment capability using Ingenico terminals and even extend the functionality with a lot of fancy features. Edvantis team is responsible for building a payment application for Ingenico terminals and connecting it to the rest of the solution. The payment application should work with two Swedish acquiring agencies, support MasterCard and VISA credit cards with a magnetic stripe, chip and contactless, and handle online and offline payment transactions.

Project main goal: implementing a new way of using payment cards - now a similar thing is working only on the London subway. In Swedish it will work even wider.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and elaborate product requirements
• Design, implement and test the payment application
• Participate in the application certification process
• Follow Scrum development process
• Communicate to local team and to remote project participants
• Business trip to the EU is very possible

Qualification

• 2-3+ of experience in embedded software development
• Strong knowledge of C/C++, С++11, STL is required
• Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures
• Experience with JSON, Git
• Good understanding of OOP, OOD (Design patterns, UML)
• Experience with EMV (Contactless payments)
• English level - Intermediate or high
