DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Continuous deployment support and integration
• Build and support automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
• Handle code deployments in all environments
• Monitor systems and metrics, troubleshoot and resolve issues with applications and implemented cloud solutions
• Validate code changes, review code
• Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards
• Other activities as assigned
• Work would require on call support and incident handling including nights and weekends as needed 

Mandatory Skill Set 

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of professional experience as a DevOps or system reliability engineer
• Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing production systems in Microsoft Azure or any other cloud provider (AWS, Google Cloud Platform ) to ensure availability, performance, scalability and security of the production systems.
• Experience with CI/CD servers like Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo.
• Basic database administration experience (SQL Server, MongoDB, Oracle).
• Experience with HTTP/S load balancers such as Nginx.
• Scripting skills: strong scripting (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Bash) and automation skills.
• Monitoring tools: experience with monitoring and log aggregation tools (e.g. Zabbix, Grafana, ELK, App Insight).
• Hands-on system administration experience with both Linux and Windows OS;
• Problem solving: ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.
