Contract drafting, evaluation, negotiation, and execution
Resposibilities:
- To successfully oversee contracts from drafting all the way to execution
- Legal compliance, negotiation, and relationship management
- Serve as the key point of contact between company and third parties to ensure timely review and approval of any variations
- Provide recommendations and negotiate directly with customer's purchasing staff
- Streamline communications and monitoring processes for life of contracts. Develop reports for various management levels
- Support operations staff with compliance to contract terms (for company & for vendor obligations) from signature through closure - be the Group's go-to resource for contract questions & issues
- Primary interface with UGV Procurement, Compliance & Legal on contract-related matters
Contract lifecycle Management
- Maintain & monitor contract status after signature (auditable trail of changes etc.)
- Keep thorough records of changes, amendments, etc.
- Monitor & report contract efficiency and compliance for individual contracts as well as portfolio of all external contracts
- Maintain an organized system for contracts records
Developing and implementing procedures and policies
- Become proficient in UGV & state regulations regarding contracts. Manage all Services Group contracts according to company policies
- Improve, augment, or develop procedures & processes to improve contract management process
- Develop best practices, provide a baseline for accountability expectations, and protect against legal, regulatory, and liability issues
- Ensure adherence to established company & Services Group policies
