System Operations Specialist

We’re looking for a System Administrator with fluent English who will work directly with our American partnering companies. 

Required skills: 
 

• Basic experience with administration of Windows workstations and servers 

• Active Directory and GPO (group policies) basic understanding (strong theoretical knowledge is also ok); 

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) analytical skills; 

• Networking concepts (OSI model, physical com ponents) and IPv4 addressing basic understanding of how the network is constructed; 

• Firewall configuration.  Familiarity with traffic rules, NAT, DHCP, DNS basic understanding, strong theoretical knowledge; 

• Basic knowledge of storage configurations (NAS, SAN, RAID levels) basic understanding (backups); 

• Experience with any of the following technologies would be a plus but not a requirement: Labtech / ConnectWise, Acronis Backups, SonicWall security products, Microsoft Exchange, SMTP, Microsoft SQL Server, Hyper-V, VMware. 

Responsibilities: 
 

• Operational alert handling, troubleshooting and remediation; 

• Addressing security incidents, analyzing and acting on threat alerts; 

• Endpoint Protection – deployment and administration of antivirus products; 

• Deployment of critical security updates for Windows OS and device firmware; 

• Participation in IT Operations project work; 

• Perform backups and backup restores to client servers; 

• Network scans; 

• New product testing;
