Billing manager (B2+ English)

Pharmbills is an American outstaffing  company headquartered in New York. We have been working for more than 5 years and have more than 200 talented people in the team.
At the moment, we are expanding our staff and recruiting new specialists for the Billing manager position, who will work remotely and move to the office when the quarantine ends.

Job purpose
Collaborate with the facility business office to ensure that all facility residents have a billable payer source and that the facility can collect all monies due.

Responsibilities 
- Verify payer source for all residents to ensure that payment will be done.
- Facilitate Medicaid Pending application process.
- Communicate with a biller to coordinate activities.
- Collaborate with facility administration to obtain all payment due.
- Review reports to monitor payment activity.
- Other duties as assigned.    

Qualifications
- Preferably be familiar with Medicare/Medicaid processes
- Basic computer skills such as knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Upper-Intermediate+ English
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Attentiveness to details
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to learn fast and apply knowledge
- Effective courteous communication and good listening skills
- Ability to keep calm in stressful situations
- Organization skills
       
Working conditions
Be ready to work according to the New York schedule: from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am. Taxi home at our expense.
