Manning Business Development Manager

We're looking for a business development manager with crew management/manning experienced to join our growing team. This position is available locally in Odessa

Your responsibilities

• As the first person focused on Business Development, you'll work closely with the whole team, to target, close, and nurture relationships with shipowners, shipmanagement and crew management companies.
• Establish Martide as a licensed Manning Agent in Ukraine.
• Develop and document processes and procedures for manning operations.
• Promote Martide at conferences and events.
• Working with our technical team to continuously improve the Martide platform, based on feedback gained from customers.

Essentials

• Three years of professional experience in the crew management/manning world.
• Prepared to travel regularly on a global basis.
• Excited about doing the grind of prospecting and selling but interested in leading a sales team as the organization grows.
• Comfort with a fast-paced, iterative, data-driven sales process.
• Passionate about helping Seafarers.
• Fluent in English.

Additional preferred skills

• Sales or marketing experience, super bonus points if it was SaaS.
