WorkNest - is an Israeli IT company with offices in Kiev, Kharkiv and Tel Aviv. In the Ukrainian market since 2016. Now we’re looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our and Verbit team and make great things together. 

Verbit’s smart transcription and captioning solution harnesses the power of artificial and human intelligence to provide over 99% accuracy, industry-leading turnaround time, and on-demand CART services. Our adaptive AI technology is customized for the higher education and legal industries. The company has more than 170 employees in Tel Aviv, Kyiv, and NY and has secured $125M of financing to date.

Verbit is growing and we are looking for an HR Manager to work at our Kyiv office. As a member of our global HR team, you will be responsible for all HR aspects for our Kyiv employees.

The role involves end-to-end Recruitment including sourcing, talent management, performance management, employee relations, engagement, employee compensation and benefits, new employee onboarding, training, and compliance.

Your work will be instrumental in developing, growing, and maintaining our team, our culture, and our values. You will contribute to our overall business objectives and will be a key to Verbit’s overall success.

What will you do

  • Recruit great talent to our Kyiv team
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
  • Support the team through development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as an recruiter/HR Generalist/Business Partner in a tech company
  • Strong track record of developing effective relationships across all levels of an organization, including executives
  • Demonstrated competence in various HR functional areas: recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, etc.
  • Proactive, able to multi-task and prioritize without close supervision, and a “can-do” attitude is a must
  • Able to exercise good judgment and discretion, maintaining confidentiality
  • Has a people-centric, “roll up your sleeves and get it done” work style
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferable

  • Prior experience in a company with international operations
