Head of Supply Chain

Subsidiary of the German concern Bizerba in Ukraine is looking for Head of Supply Chain.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Supply Chain  to join our team in Kyiv. The Head of supply chain manages all aspects of the organization's supply chain management and operations, including procurement, vendor relations, production, logistics, and distribution. Develops and implements plans for managing supply chain processes for production and operations. Oversees demand forecasting, supply planning, and procurement to ensure resource requirements are satisfied. Communicates with executives regarding business needs to secure resources needed to satisfy customer demands and ensure delivery and/or implementation. 

You will be responsible for planning implementing and monitoring our overall sales and inventory management strategy and in order to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of the supply chain management function as well as the planning and directing of activities and operations of the business
• Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery, and returns on products
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy and efficiency within operations
• Develop, implement and sustain a production planning system to ensure on-time in full delivery to our customers
• Manage current and long-term forecast projections to drive production and inventory planning goals 
• Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective
• Develop effective communication and processes with the transportation and logistics vendors
• Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors 
• Maitening supply and purchase (export/import) agreement
• Owning and maintaining Inventory management and Demand planning process: analyze orders/stock match; orders with no stock/stock with no orders
• Design or implement plant warehousing strategies for goods
• Manage stocks, secure FIFO rule adherence or appropriate approvals in place for exceptions if any, monitor slow movers, initiate/coordinate disposal actions
• Initiate further escalation of supply related issues to Sales and other related departments
• Owning and maintaining Pricing Master Data in ERP system
• Credit control
• Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
• Observe the existing supply chain business process and actively participate in testing process of new functions

Core Competency Requirements:

• Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5 plus years of expirience in supply chain management, preferably in distribution area, wharehouse and purchasing
• Deep understanding of sales, inventory management and  demand planning process 
• In depth knowledge of 1C 8.2 program
• In depth knowledge of general rules of preparing the primary documents for goods sale
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Stress resistance
• English knowledge Intermediate +,
• Good time-management skills
