Android Developer

We are now looking for an Android developer to join our Kharkiv RnD center with a unique family-like atmosphere and sophisticated projects.

The Project:

Our customer creates evidence-based health- and nutrition-related solutions that are simple, clear, and actionable by analyzing blood, DNA, and users' lifestyle and nutrition habits. Once the analysis is made, we recommend you how to live, look, age, and perform better.

Our customer's products have already helped thousands of people improve their lives by improving their bodies from the inside out, using personalized recommendations for nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle. They're optimizing everyone, from elite athletes to busy professionals and stressed-out parents.

Responsibilities:

As a part of the Customer's core team, your job will include thinking critically and making

architectural decisions focusing on productiveness and maintainability of the application.

• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
• Work in collaboration with iOS and Java developers
• Ensure the best possible performance, speed, and responsiveness of the application
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 3+ years of experience with Android
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• A strong understanding of the full life cycle of app development using Google's
• Developer Portal
• Understanding the nuances of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to
• effectively write code for a multitude of Android devices
• Extensive knowledge of Android design principles and third-party libraries
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Published apps in the market
• Good time-management skills
• Upper-intermediate - fluent English
