Software Test Engineer

Description

EchoStar is looking for a SW Test Engineer for our Software Test Team in Ukraine. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or similar discipline and/or several years' software testing experience.

The Test Engineer role is to evaluate the quality of the latest releases of EchoStar software. In this role, you will be responsible for creation and performance of software tests for EchoStar products (mostly using black box/white box/grey box techniques). In doing this, you will follow strict guidelines for testing, procedures and performance of standard test routines.

The position also involves reviewing test plans, making time estimations, writing reports and reporting bugs in a centralized bug tracking database. You will be expected to maintain and help improve test procedures, ensuring we deliver good quality products on time and to schedule.
